a note from Sudarshan
Tiny Mic Story'snext step!
Hello!
I'm Sudarshan, and I started Tiny Mic Story as a volunteer-run project 10 years ago.
The programme has evolved multiple times over the years.
This is an invite for 10 students to apply to be part of the next version of Tiny Mic Story we have been building.
Our mission remains the same
Helping children develop genuine confidence, creativity, and emotional intelligence.
The storytelling and public speaking we teach are tools for developing these fundamental skills.
The idea is simple: great stories come from small, everyday life.
When a child tells a story about what they see, they start observing the small things in their daily life.
When a child tells a story about what they feel, they start understanding the emotions they feel.
So when a child tells a Tiny Mic Story every day, it helps them develop fundamental life skills that go far beyond just speaking.
And just incidentally, this also helps them speak really well, really fast.
What the first invited group did
Over the last few months, I coached a small invited group of Tiny Mic students, and they helped us build the new, refined version of our programme. Every week, they:
- joined live Zoom sessions with me
- recorded a story every day on our app
- got feedback to improve their stories
- gave feedback to improve the programme
Now we're inviting 10 more students
This batch is for children who've already completed the basic Tiny Mic Story training: kids we can take further, and whose learning we can showcase so other children learn from it.
It's a fit if:
- Your child has completed the basic training, in person, online, or through the Confident Child Blueprint.
- You believe what we believe: storytelling and public speaking are not the goal. They are tools for developing fundamental life skills.
- You're comfortable with us showcasing moments from your child's learning so other kids can learn from them.
What the programme looks like
Live sessions with me: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 8–9 pm IST
one week
App access. Your child gets access to our app, where they record one story a day and receive personalised feedback on it. This isn't homework. Kids genuinely love it:one in three children who start recording on the app go on to record for 30 days or more. Over time, it becomes a living memory of your child's creativity, and you'll watch their progress unfold. See Shlokh's 365 stories ↗
Plus extra experimental sessions from time to time.

Pricing
₹8,999 for six months.
If you begin and decide within 14 days that it isn't right for your family, I'll refund the full amount.
A few practical questions
Is there another session time?
For now, this is the only slot. If your child misses a session, they can follow along with the recordings shared inside the app.
Is this one-on-one coaching?
No. These are group sessions, and the group is a big part of why kids love them.
I already paid for the Confident Child Blueprint.
You keep lifetime access to the self-paced course at courses.tinymicstory.com. This is a separate programme with live sessions and personalised feedback.
Can I enrol for less than six months?
No. We need continuity to help your child show noticeable change and to document their learning for others to model.
How to apply
Entry is by application only. I'll review applications as they come in and stop once the group of 10 is complete.
Send me a WhatsApp message with:
- Your child's name and age
- Which Tiny Mic Story programme they've been part of before
- A one- or two-minute video of your child telling a real story about their day (an earlier recorded story is fine too)
Note: Selection is not based on speaking ability, and there is no need to polish the video.
I am not judging how well your child speaks. Teaching them that is my job.
I ask for the video to make sure the 10 spots include children with different speaking abilities, ages and genders. This means that any child watching their stories later can see someone like themselves.
P.S.
